Your data, plainly.

What we collect

When you register for an event or apply to the cohort we ask for your name and email, plus optionally your student ID and department. That is the whole list. The site itself sets no tracking cookies. The only things kept in your browser are two notes that vanish when you close the tab: that you dismissed the announcement banner, and that your visit was already counted.

Why we collect it

To run events (the list at the door), to administer cohort applications, and to reply when you write to us. Nothing else: no marketing lists, no sharing with third parties, no profiling.

Where it lives

Registrations are stored in a database hosted in the European Union (Amazon DynamoDB, Frankfurt region) accessible only to the club board. The website itself can only add entries to that database. It cannot read them back. Notification emails go to the club inbox at Özyeğin University.

Your consent

Every form has an explicit consent checkbox, and a registration without it is rejected, including on the server and not just in your browser. Consent is per-purpose: registering for one event consents to that event’s administration only.

Your rights (KVKK)

Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) you can ask what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion. One email does it: clubs.ventures@ozu.edu.tr. We answer within 30 days, usually much faster.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting Vercel Analytics to count page views. URLs are stripped of query strings and fragments before being sent, there are no advertising identifiers, and nothing is tied to your name.
